Important Share Trading Notice!

Over the years, Fidelity has implemented many policies for all shareholders to discourage any short-term trading activity. These fees are used to control and recover costs associated with short-term trading activity. Fidelity will continually evaluate the extent to which redemption fees and other controls are needed to protect long-term fund shareholders and make changes as necessary.

While Fidelity believes their current policies and controls have been effective in discouraging market timing, they are implementing this process to make sure they are doing everything they should to discourage excessive trading by shareholders, and ensure that short-term trading is not detrimental to long-term fund shareholders.

Effective January 1, 2005, Fidelity implemented a policy which effects some of our funds. These funds will have penalties (fees) assessed for shares that are not held for the minimum periods as outlined below. Each of these funds must be held for the minimum period below to avoid these penalties.

- Overseas Fund (0167) Minimum Period: 30 days 1.00% penalty
- Spartan 500 Index Fund (0317) Minimum Period: 90 days 0.50% penalty
- Diversified International Fund (0735) Minimum Period 30 days 1.00% penalty
- Natural Resources Fund (0166) Minimum Period 60 days 1.00% penalty
